Is Marijuana a Weed?!

As most people already know, one of the most common ways to refer to marijuana is weed. Sure, there are plenty of other ways to refer to the plant, but weed is by far the most common and well known of these terms. Some other words for marijuana are cannabis, herb, ganja, bud, and of course weed. When using the word in this context, we often forget what its original meaning was. Though the term is loose and not well defined, the accepted definition is a plant growing in an area in which it is unwanted. As you can see, this is a very broad definition that doesn’t give us a very rigid idea of what the term weed actually means. This leads many to ask the question, “Is marijuana a weed?” The Definition of Weed Contrary to what one might think, this question is in fact searched very often on all of the major search engines. This is a clear indicator that there is demand for this question and we aim to clear it up for you. Most people assume that weed is just a derogatory term used for the plant that started during the time of prohibition. Over time, the word weed became more of a positive term for this plant. Growers often say that cannabis is a weed because of  the way in which it grows....

Strain Review: Headband OG

This strain is another one of the many potent strains sold at the Hollistic Center in Fontana, California. The more I go to this clinic, the more I find that I simply can’t find anything wrong with it. The pricing is good, the service is excellent, and the marijuana is top of the line. I’ve sampled quite a few strains of marijuana at different times and they are always fresh and priced moderately enough that anyone can afford some of the top shelf. You might think that you are saving money with the lower priced strains of weed, but the high you get with top shelf is so much better than you would get smoking the other stuff. This is why I am a firm believer in the benefits of better weed over the cheaper strains. Headbang OG Strain Review When I was looking at all the different kinds of weed available, the top shelf caught my eye as it always does with it awesome smelling strains. As soon as I put my nose to the jar, I knew this was the kind that I wanted to try out this time. The bud tender told me that this particular strain was a perfect hybrid of sativa and indica in that it was exactly fifty percent of each. This intrigued me so much that I couldn’t wait to drive home...

Blue Dream Strain Review

Good ganja is one of the few pure things left in today’s world. Even it is getting increasingly hard to find because of the inexperience of today’s growers. Many times upon going in to the clinic, I’m faced with a decision that includes only outdoor weeds and not any look even the slightest dank. Even though it is becoming increasingly hard to come by, I still make it a point to buy great weed whenever I see or smell it because it is an opportunity that doesn’t come around very often anymore. Back in the days of picking up off the street, it seemed that the weed was always dank and fluffy, but maybe that was just my inexperience at smoking the stuff. Whatever the case, I certainly do know my stuff now and I much prefer the finer weeds in life. Blue Dream Strain Review One of the most recent strains I have sampled is the wonderful Blue Dream. This sativa gives a great head high and has a very popular name that is used for bud often. Though people refer to them as the same strain, there will always be differences in different batches of Blue Dream depending on growing conditions and other various factors. This particular batch was stunning both to the eyes and to the nose. I can not get over how potent this Blue...

How to Cure Marijuana

When one speaks of curing marijuana, they are talking about the process in which bacteria feed on the chlorophyll of your buds and make them smoke up a whole lot smoother. This process is useful for growers who have a lot of weed on hand or who simply want the best smoking experience possible. Either way, curing is a lengthy and difficult process to master, so don’t get discouraged if you don’t get it right the first couple of times. With good practice, buds can be cured for over a year which results in an unbelievable taste and almost no harsh feeling when taking in the smoke. If you haven’t tried curing your bud yet, I really suggest that you learn how as this is the difference between good weed and super dank weed. The Process of Curing When curing your own weed, there will be a very large learning curve involved. This is one of the hardest things to master about growing your own so give it some time. You might find that you have a knack for the process and really enjoy doing it. To begin, you will need some glass jars to provide a space for your weed to cure properly. A dark place in the house is the most ideal for curing and you will want it to be free from temperature variations. You must...

Jim Gray Endorses Weed!

The Libertarian party has always been one of free thinkers and good ideas. It’s a shame that we run under the two party system that we do as it would be nice to have someone else in the White House for a change. Vice Presidential nominee for the Libertarian party, Jim Gray, made a statement at Imperial Beach in CA endorsing medical marijuana! This is huge news as people in such positions rarely associate themselves with the drug. Yes on Proposition S Jim Gray endorsed all of the medical marijuana initiatives on the ballot in November for the San Diego county. This event was set up by the Yes on Proposition S campaign, so Gray naturally supports that proposition as well. Before Gray was the VP nominee, he was a presiding judge of the Supreme Court in Orange County. It’s no surprise that a man with such an exciting life has so many things to offer the community. While the Libertarian party always fights for good ideas and what they believe in, it is hard for them to get a word in because everyone is so fixated on the Democrats and the Republicans. Perhaps a huge change in political party is what our country needs right now. Jim Gray Before His Nomination Before his debut as the vice presidential nominee for the Libertarian party, Jim Gray lived a very...
