Upon my last visit to the Hollistic Center in Fontana, California, I was gifted with a free gram of Purple Afghoo. While it wasn’t quite as potent as some of their other strains, this one was great for the price. Usually going for ten dollars per gram, this strain is still a great buy even if one does not get it for free. The bud tender was very knowledgeable about their supply and told me that this strain had  mostly chemicals that get you high rather than the ones for your health or for the munchies. All in all, this was a great strain and I would definitely buy it again if I was given the chance. This clinic has great strains and a friendly staff so I will definitely be going back. Marijuana use is increasing in teens from last year while prescription drug use is going down. Needless to say, the prohibition attempt  on marijuana is not really working all that well, but it is having a positive effect on the use of other, more harmful drugs. Though this was not an intended effect of the prohibition, few argue that it is not a positive effect that the movement has had. If more teens can stick to marijuana in stead of drugs that do more harm to the body, that is a win that we can all enjoy. As of late, there has been a lot of talk about these fake drug checkpoints that cops are setting up. The supreme court however ruled that drug checkpoints were unconstitutional in the year 2000 so cops now have to use clever ways to get around that reality. The fact that the police force can essentially overturn the court’s ruling is the real problem here. The courts are here to give us fair and legal ruling on big problems that can not be solved by arguments between people like normal problems could be. If cops continue to act like they are above the law by exploiting loopholes and dodging official court rulings like this, then there is little hope for respect for our courts.  Police officers need to act like regular citizens and quit thinking they are more important than others.
